The War After the War to End All Wars is a postapocalyptic adventure novel about a boy who begins a journey in no man’s land with an assault team soldier to find his brother, who he believed to be dead.

The anonymous storyteller hides in a bunker with his friends in a ruined city, where American commandos and Russian partisans are fighting. The lives of civilians are worth nothing. However, the depressingly monotonous days end when the boy finally meets an injured soldier. In this world, there are no allies, only enemies. But when bombs start to fall on the city again, the boy realizes he and the wounded soldier can only survive if they work together. He decides to save the stranger without guessing anything about the special friendship that the future holds for them.

Will they get out of the city alive? What awaits them across the borders? What will keep them alive when everything else is destroyed?
