The Petőfi Literary Fund represents Hungarian literature in Prague

From 9 to 11 June, the Petőfi Literary Fund will be representing Hungarian literature at the Svet Knihy or the Book World International Book Fair in Prague.

"We live for books. A sweet mission in this world dominated by disorder and decay." The Svet Knihy or the Book World International Book Fair in Prague organized for the 27th time choose these words from The name of the rose by Umberto Eco as its motto. The fair opens its gates on Friday 10 June. The Petőfi Literary Fund awaits visitors interested in Hungarian literature with various exciting programs, book launches, readings and panel discussions. Mátyás Sirokai, Dóra Elekes and György Spiró present their volumes with the help of a Czech-Hungarian interpreter. Furthermore the presentation series about The Continental Literary Magazine continues as well.
