Seeking poetic happiness in Como

The theme of this year's International Poetry Festival was "POETIC HAPPINESS," suggesting that poetry is the highest expression of creativity. Thanks to the poems and testimonies of authors from different countries around the world, the audience could contemplate the utopia of happiness with particular sensitivity, which seems increasingly distant today but may be sought at levels different from economic success.

For Hungarian poet Attila Balázs F., the opportunity to participate in the event was provided through the "Show Yourself!" literary transfer grant.

After the poet-translator arrived in Milan, he traveled to Como by train and then continued by bus to Lugano in the company of other participants later that afternoon. He had the chance to visit the Hermann Hesse Museum there.

The following morning, an interactive meeting took place with the students of Liceo Classico Alessandro Volta in Como. As one of the partner institutions of the festival, the school had been preparing for this meeting throughout the year. Participants had the opportunity to explore illustrations, translations, musical adaptations of poems, videos and impressive artworks. The students read the poets' works in Italian and conducted short interviews with them.

Following the high school program, there was an opportunity for a meeting with the students of the Insubria State University. The participants were provided with meals at the Istituto Enaip Como, a school that trains hospitality professionals. The students themselves cooked and served a variety of delicious dishes and desserts, accompanied by quality local wines. Later in the day, another high school, Liceo Orsoline San Carlo, welcomed the poets. The students showcased their creativity by creating videos and giving short presentations based on the poems.

On May 20th, after the program at Liceo Teresa Ciceri, a meeting with literature enthusiasts of the city took place in the beautiful Villa Galli. In the presence of local officials and diplomats, the festival awards were ceremoniously presented. Attila Balázs F. received a special prize at the event. Local actors and musicians entertained the audience, creating a wonderful atmosphere.

As the grand finale of the series of events, poets had the opportunity to present themselves to the residents of the town on May 21st in the magnificent garden and chapel of Villa Sormani Marzorati Uva, which has stood for centuries in Missaglia.

A költői boldogság keresése Comóban

A comói Europa in Versi Fesztivált 2023. május 19-21. között rendezték meg a La Casa della Poesia szervezésében.

A Nemzetközi Költészeti Fesztivál idei témája a "KÖLTŐI BOLDOGSÁG" volt, mely szerint a költészet a kreativitás legmagasabb szintű kifejezője. A világ különböző országaiból érkezett szerzők verseinek és vallomásainak köszönhetően a közönség különös érzékenységgel gondolkodhatott el a boldogság utópiájáról, amely ma egyre távolabbinak tűnik, de talán a gazdasági sikertől eltérő szinteken is kereshető.

Magyarországról Balázs F. Attila költő számára nyílt lehetőség a ’Mutasd magad!’ irodalmi transzferpályázat által részt venni a rendezvénysorozaton.

A költő, műfordító Milánóba érkezését követően, vonattal utazott Comóba és már aznap délután utazott tovább busszal a többi résztvevő társaságában Luganóba, ahol megtekinthették a Hermann Hesse Múzeumot.

Másnap reggel a comói Liceo Classico Alessandro Volta gimnáziumban interaktív találkozóra került sor az iskola diákjaival. Az iskola, mint a fesztivál egyik partnerintézménye, egész évben készül a találkozóra: a résztvevők illusztrációkkal, fordításokkal, megzenésített versekkel, videókkal, lenyűgöző alkotásokkal ismerkedhettek meg. A költők verseit a diákok olvasták fel olasz nyelven, akik rövid interjúkat is készítettek a költőkkel.

A gimnáziumi programot követően az Insubria Állami Egyetem diákjaival nyílt lehetőség egy találkozóra. Az étkezést az Istituto Enaip Como-ban biztosították a résztvevőknek, egy vendéglátósokat képző iskolában, ahol a diákok főztek és fel is szolgálták a fogásokat. Finomabbnál finomabb ételeket és süteményeket kóstolhattak a vendégek, minőségi, helyi borok társaságában. A nap során még egy újabb gimnázium, a Liceo Orsoline San Carlo fogadta a költőket. A tanulók kreativitásukról tanúbizonyságot téve videókat, rövid előadásokat készítettek a versekre.

Május 20-án a Liceo Teresa Ciceri középiskolai programját követően, a gyönyörű Villa Galliában került sor a város irodalomkedvelőivel való találkozóra. A város elöljáróinak és diplomatának társaságában ünnepélyesen kiosztották a fesztivál díjait.. Balázs F. Attila a fesztivál különdíját nyerte el. A rendezvényen helyi színészek és zenészek remek hangulatot teremtve szórakoztatták az érdeklődőket.

A programsorozat zárásaként, május 21-én Missagliban, a többszázéves Villa Sormani Marzorati Uva csodálatos kertjében és kápolnájában mutatkozhattak be a költők a település lakosai előtt.
