New Delhi World Book Fair

 Petőfi Literary Fund will represent Hungary at the New Delhi World Book Fair with a 4 square meter stand and three programs.

 

The main goal of the events is to present contemporary Hungarian literature to the Indian and international audience, and to form new connections between translators and publishers in order to support future book launches. The Book fair will include a symposium entitled Kaleidoscope – Hungarian Contemporary LiteratureThree authors, three segments of the Hungarian literature of the 21st century, moderated by Mariann Erdő.

Judit Berg, author of Rumini child book, Péter Szűcs, author of Dharma and Dániel Levente Pál, author and director of Petőfi Literary Fund will participate in the panel discussion. The event will take place at the Liszt Institute in India.

February  25    Formal Opening

February  26   3 pm – 4 pm: Hungarian contemporary performance at the fair with - Judit Berg, Péter Szűcs

February  28  11 am: Lecture on Hungarian contemporary literature and the activities of Petőfi Literary Fund – Dániel Levente Pál: Classical and Contemporary Hungarian Literature as World Literature

February 28 5:30 pm: Publisher's meeting by Oxford Bookstore
