Bologna Children’s Book Fair

It is one of the largest and most respected children's book trade fairs in the world, colloquially known as "Frankfurt for kids". The Petőfi Literary Fund will have a 16 m2 stand at the fair, where we exhibit children's books translated into Italian and other relevant foreign languages in recent years, our "Best of" publications series, various information material.

 

Petőfi Literary Fund is also organizing an event on the fair ground on the 5th March where Hungarian children’s book publishers can introduce themselves to foreing book professionals.The aim of the event is to promote contemporary Hungarian children's literature in Italian and, more broadly, internationally, both among readers and professionals, to build translator-publisher relationships to facilitate future book launches.
